That’s it. That’s a full #30daysofkarate Tonight was a great finish to the exercise- 15 minutes each of #kata , #kihon , #kobudo (#tonfa specifically), and then finishing with #meditation – I’m #grateful for three things: the support of people here on IG who I greatly #respect , the rekindling of the desire and habit to continue #training , and that counting every day for 30 days is over. Day 29… sheesh, DAY 29!?!? Of #30daysofkarate Is tomorrow really the last day of this challenge? Today was a lot of fun (and a lot of work) – our school had a tournament for all of our locations. Here I’m the center #judge for one of our young #whitebelt divisions. So proud of our little #karateka and seeing them just start their #karate journey. One of my best friends and I also did a #kobudo demonstration with the #bo #martialarts #budo #bushido #kihon #sparring #kumite @ando_mierzwa @karateculture Naperville, Illinois

Day 28 of #30daysofkarate – I started doing one practice and got taken in a different direction. I’m really excited and energized by today’s #karate session but, and I apologize for the ambiguity, I’m not ready to reveal what today was about. Here’s a teaser: #meditation #writing and #martialarts I’ll be working on this and polishing it up over the next week or two and will share it then.
