It was a fun time in the ol’ #dojo tonight. Tonight was one of those special nights when everything seemed to click – all the kids (young and old) had really positive #energy and showed up with their A game. These are the #training days I live for. #karate #kobudo #martialarts #meditation #learning #bushido #budo #laughter @erickastengren @mish.mash.do @jay_the_sensational
Back to back nights in the #dojo signals the end of the flu at our house. FINALLY! Now I get to close out the day with some #meditation before #bedtime – practicing some #mokuso or “still thoughts”. The inscription on my bench is #isshan #dotei (one in #mind and #body) – meditation is an essential part of my #karate practice. #martialarts #bushido #budo #mindfulness #innerstrength #innerpeace #focus #visualization
